Teacher Guide
In partnership between Book Creator and Epic! we have created an amazing remixable template journal filled with reading responses to meet a variety of student needs.
Reading Response Journal
A reading response journal allows students to reflect on their initial responses to their reading experiences. These journal entries or pages can be completed immediately after reading a portion of text, or after an entire book. It offers a place to reflect on the story in an open format.
Using this book
As students read books in Epic! they are tasked with completing a daily journal page reflecting on the section or book they've read. Through the use of choice and voice, students will be motivated and engaged to reflect on their reading in a multitude of ways. In addition to Epic!'s amazing library, students will enjoy reading like never before!
