How Are Raisins Made?

Grow or find seedless grapes, traditionally found in California.

Pick the grapes off the vines when they are ripe, or ready for eating.

Set the grapes on paper trays in the sun for 2-3 weeks, or until they are shriveled and no longer full of juice.

International Read To Me Day was relaunched in 2021 to become a single ongoing event, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year! Through online platforms such as Facebook Live, ambassadors from all over the world sign up for 10 minute slots and read aloud to children!
