By: Dougie, Autumn & CarterJDO classroom partners from Howe-Manning Elementary School in Middleton, MA, and Burghclere Primary School in Burghclere, England worked together on this global collaborative project to craft creative stories.
At the end of the 21st century Mankind was facing global resource depletion. Space Rovers were sent out to find potential inhabitable planets. nSeed were carried by these Space Rovers to test the possibility of growing plants on a target planet.
One day nSeed sent out 2 rovers with different colours each 1 sapphire called Blue Monkey and 1 marigold called Blaze, they were sent to insert some boxes with seeds into the ground to see if that planet could support life. Blue Monkey was like a tank but without the turret and Blaze was like a quad bike with hands. The seed was a nice hazel colored but when tested wrong turns a dark, dusty coal black. ”Let's go quick we've got one more place to test,” hurried Blue Monkey. They were just packing up, when they heard a loud whistling sound.
They look up, meteors came rushing down from space. BOOM! They start to drive away. CRASH, BANG! Blue Monkey and Blaze zoom out of the meteors' sight. CRASH! Blue Monkey and Blaze almost exploded. "Arrrgh run, run, run," they have gone out of sight of the meteor shower so they take a break. A few minutes later, they come to a meteor grave. Then they head into a maze of meteors. They start moving around the maze when Blue Monkey goes the wrong way.
Blaze made it out of the maze and saw that blue wasn't there. Then he went back and went the other way. He found empty boxes testing wrong and then went down a pit. ”What's that? It's green. The box tested...it worked” he yelled excitedly. “Blue! We made it! “ Blaze yelled “Blue?" Wait a minute. Where is Blue? Well Blue, I’m coming.” Blaze screamed. Vroom, screech! Blaze drifted across the dark black sand, “I see all Blue’s nSEED boxes.”
