THE EVIL WIZARD

400 years ago, there lived a locksmith and his family in a small town in America. The man had two sons with the elder named Ted and the younger named Ben. The locksmith always trained his sons how to open locks without keys. He always said, "Boys, someday you might need to use these skills to help you." Ted remembered everything, but Ben refused to listen to his father.

Life in the small town was peaceful until one March. "It must be done by a monster!" said an old lady. Another man added, "My neighbor's daughter is missing too." Soon, more and more cases of missing children were reported. From that time onwards, parents did not allow their children to go out in March. Most of the children were scared to go out, except Ben. For many times, he went out secretly without being noticed by his family. He thought that the rumor was not true. Ben murmured, "I really want to see what the monster looks like."

One day in March, Ben went to the playground to play football. There were no children on the street because everyone was scared. He sat on a bench daydreaming. Suddenly, a lady walked towards him and said, "You look bored. Come with me to the forest and I will show you something interesting." Ben was so bored, so he agreed. After that, he had never returned home.

Ben did not go home so Ted and his family were worried. The next day, his parents went to look for him and told Ted to stay at home. "Do not go out!" ordered Ted's parents. Ted stayed at home until the evening, but he was too worried that he wanted to help as well. He went to the market, the library and almost everywhere, but he failed to find his brother. He was so tired that he sat in the playground for a rest. Suddenly, the lady showed up again and said to Ted, "Are you looking for your friend? I can help you." He followed the lady to the forest where she suddenly hit him in his head. He fainted and found himself locked up in a basement when he woke up.

Ben could not believe his eyes. He saw a lot of bones on the ground and many children. The children told him that they were all caught by the lady. She was in fact the wife of the evil wizard. The wizard needed to eat children in March so that he could live forever. While Ted was talking to the children, he heard the voice of a child crying. The wizard was having a ceremony before throwing the child into the pot. Ted shouted, "Is that Ben? Is that you?" "Yes! Help me!" replied Ben.
