The Haunted Adventure

“ Look out, Ellyse there's a rock right there !” I yelled but it was too late she tripped and flew into some blackberries and got pricked, CRASH!!. “ There’s a mansion !!,” &nbsp;Ellyse screamed with a surprise face. “how will I get over there,” I asked. “ Climb through the blackberries,” Ellyse suggested. AHH!! it hurts, “ Well you made it through, but in a mess,” cried Ellyse. “ It’s definitely a mansion, but it looks a bit spooky” I muttered.

“Let’s just leave Lily to do her stuff, ” squeaked Ellyse. “ Let’s carry on with our journey then,” I suggested. So we carried on strolling through the bushes. We heard lots of howling noises but no way we were not going to stop at all, 30 minutes later we were still strolling our hearts out. The sun was disappearing behind the pitch black clouds and the moon was rising fast.

I woke up that morning, no haunted house, no spiders spying at us, no stairs and no friend, it was once again just a scary dream... Kirsten.

It was a cold spring night and the sunset was going down, I had a bone chilling feeling as I walked towards the mansions heavy oak gate. Mouldy curtains were moving inside the house, and tall leafless trees growing through the mansion walls. We both grabbed each others arms and asked ourselves why are we doing this. “To prove we went on an adventure,” added Ellyse. Lightning struck it was guarding the creepy house, dressing the pitch black sky like stripes in the darkness, but I started opening the gate, it was having a fit it was creaking, screeching, squeaking, and made a horrible noise scraping the concrete, it’s like the noise of a cat's claws running down a chalkboard. I guessed it hasn’t been used for several years, finally I opened it wide and entered the overgrown paths, blackberries owning the place,and prickly brown grass brushed our legs,

“ Ellyse I have butterflies in my tummy, goosebumps appearing on my legs, spine chilling and i’m creeped out” I said. “ Well I am very unsettled, sick in my tummy, terrified, and really nervous,” babbled Ellyse.

The Haunted Adventure The wind howled as if it was a wolf, and Ellyse was hoping we didn’t have to go on the spooky adventure in the haunted forest and was breathing heavily. Finally I persuaded her that it was not that bad. Off we strolled through the breeze of the forest but all of a sudden a scary animal appeared right in front of as… so I slammed on my brakes. It was Lily my pony, she looked a bit pale but I still jumped on her, but I fell straight through her with a BANG!! Onto the hard ground. “ It’s a ghost” shouted Ellyse, AHHH!!.

Hi my name is Kirsten and i'm 11 years old and i'm a year 7 at Tokoroa Intermediate School. My class is doing scary narrative writing and this is mine.&#160; In my free time you will find me on a farm or spending time with my pony.

Finally made it thru the blackberry bushes and to the creepy front door and it was like a run down gate hiding secret messages for the haunted house like a locked up bank, with moss growing up it, and missing wooden panels, and said Enter at your own risk and blood dripping&nbsp;down the door, and a sad looking umbrella outside the shattered window. We creeped in quietly through all the cobwebs looking like decorations in the window, unpation to get out of the haunted house it was like a bright street light, and the floor was covered in shattered glass and blood. A trail of fresh blood led to a room... it was a mess, newspaper everywhere so I picked a old newspaper up, I tried to read it in the pitch black room, the only 10 words I could read was little girl killed in this house by her own father!! AHH was that in my dream or is that real? I wondered. “ Let’s carry on with our journey through the house,” Ellyse asked.

I begged and begged Ellyse to leave this house but no way Ellyse was not leaving, she was enjoying this exciting adventure so we carry on exploring through the house. I felt petrified, my heart racing faster than a angry cheetah and I was very very unsettled. We went up the creaky rotten staircase and entered the damp bedroom, and it felt like we were not alone. Spiders were spying at Ellyse and I. It was the middle of the night and spooky eyes were like cars bright headlights spying through the darkness like zooming stars, so we decided to try go to sleep.
