All About The Seas (around our countries)
International eTwinning project
About the project
In this project we intend to know more about the seas around us, compose different maps (oceans, islands, seas, sea countries, different coasts, sea animals, maritime transport, pollution, tourism...) in cooperation and create the Marine Atlas. We want to learn how to use the marine environment, catching living resources, without damaging the biodiversity. For that we will also study maritime transport to take us into a deep dive. We will discuss sea pollution, pressure from cities, industry and agriculture. And how we can minimize those consequences for the future with clear water. We will support our studies on national and international environmental politics through the sharing of experiences among our partners. We want to do some practical activities to clean our nature and the coastline. During the project, participating students will get to know each other, communicate with each other and do team work. Maps will be created in collaboration. The students will talk about internet security, make videos, learn about partners' Christmas customs... After learning all about the sea we can dream about a better future.

Aims
- Know the consequences of the ocean and seas due to human activity
- Share experiences about the influence of the oceans in different communities, on the national and international levels.
- Participate in environmental volunteer actions for the preservation of the oceans and coastal regions (cleaning of beaches, rivers, lakes,...) and be aware of the sea impact on the coastal formations.
- Water tests (density, salinity, filtration, decantation and treatment)
- Getting to know the use of different sea areas and related problems.
- Compose different maps (oceans, islands, seas, sea countries, different coasts, sea animals, maritime transport, pollution, tourism...) in cooperation and create the Marine Atlas.
- To combine knowledge of different subjects into a single whole.
- The goal is also an interaction of students from different countries both in twinspaces and virtual online meetings.
