12.Acceptance of people's ethnic origin Many countries today have evolved &nbsp;in terms of respect for ethnic diversity. Societies are increasingly multicultural and therefore more and more tolerance is required. Tolerance of ethnicity means that you are not prejudiced against someone simply because of the colour of their skin. You should not assume that just &nbsp;because someone comes from a particular ethnic group, they will have certain beliefs or be a threat to anyone.

7. Free Speech Freedom of speech is a fundamental right in a tolerant society. If you look at dictatorships around the world, one of the things these societies lose first and foremost is their freedom to speak up against the system. Freedom of speech means respecting the rights of others to say whatever they believed in all matters, even if you don't like it. Lack of freedom of speech leads to the downfall of democracy.

Let's talk about Tolerance Tolerance is the ability to accept and live with others for what they are. People vary in a lot of things in life and the acceptance of this variety is of great importance for the co- existence in a globalised planet. Here are some examples of tolerance you can apply to in your life starting from today!

Conclusion Tolerance is what makes a society consistent and peaceful. Without it, a society made up of a mixture of different group of people will be in a constant conflict. Tolerance is something that schools, churches and parents need to teach to their children. Intolerance must be stifled as soon as possible. Otherwise, children will grow up unreasonably hostile to others.

5.Acceptance of different students at school Every child has the right to attend school in his or her own neighbourhood. This came up after a lot of struggles, as it was argued that if children grew up together, there would be greater trust, respect and tolerance between different groups. Today schools are attended by pupils from various ethnic groups, children with learning or mobility difficulties and they co-exist peacefully.

1.Acceptance of people's traditions and religions For example, understanding and accepting different views in a society about religion is tolerance. People come from different religions and worship their god on their own way. These may seem strange or even downright wrong to you, but then you must understand that as long as people do not harm others, they have the right to believe in their own religion.

11. Acceptance of the artistic preferences of others Not all people like the same music. Some people might like rap music and you might like rock music. Others may like classical music and others may like pop. In fact, no one is right and no one is wrong, when it comes to artistic preferences.

Accepting people we don't get along with in the workplace One of the commonest circumstances we have to show tolerance to is when we have to put up with an unpleasant classmate at school.This type of tolerance involves exercising patience when people do something that annoys us. Tolerance in this situation means accepting that others can do whatever they want as long as it is not rude or annoying.

10. Acceptance for people with disabilities While in the past, society generally ignored people with disabilities, today, we have become more aware of their needs and abilities and try to help them. This is a proof of &nbsp;the growing acceptance of diversity.

4. Tolerant Dress Codes Not all people like to dress the same way. Some people may like formal, others may like casual, you may like traditional and we may like modern. An intolerant person may claim that someone's choice is cheap or unintelligent. This, of course, hurts others who hear it. In fact, no one is right about clothing preferences, since each person chooses what they like and what suits them.

9. Acceptance of the poor and the oppressed Some people are poor and there is, unfortunately, a group of people who are homeless, dirty or smelly. You may meet these people. However, showing distaste and insulting someone who belongs to a different group class is not right. You can help him and feel better!

8. Acceptance of the right to live the way you want People have different personalities. They can make &nbsp;choices, be humorous with their own ideals in life. Tolerance for someone's personality means not making fun of or targeting a person just because they are different from us. People have the right to be happy and live their lives with dignity.

2. Acceptance of people’s political attitudes Politics today is divisive, especially in countries where there is democracy. Voters from different political parties seem to face each other with contempt. A tolerant and mature person should be able to respect that intelligent people come to different conclusions about politics. And, even if someone's point of view seems misguided to you, it is their right, their &nbsp;opinion!

3. Acceptance of different culture Each person comes from his own country, his own civilization, his own tradition, his own history and generally his own culture. Tolerance of other people's culture means respecting their different way of life. It is everyone's right to live by their own culture so that they can be free and happy. It is the right thing to do!
