What is the difference between physical and chemical change?
What Is a Physical Change? In a physical change, the material involved in the change is structurally the same before and after the change. A chemical change is a change of materials into another, new materials with different properties and one or more than one new substances are formed.
If you cut a piece of bread, it is still bread. So that would be physical change
But if you put a tin of bread dough in the oven to bake, that is a chemical change.
Cutting a cucumber is Physical change, it is still a cucumber.
But if you pickled them, it would now be a pickle. It is a chemical change.
If you cut your hair, that is a physical change.
But if you bleach or dye it, that is a chemical change.
Shredding paper is a physical change.
