Yes, heat melts solid ice and causes it to change to water. Heat also causes water to evaporate and become a gas.

It's reversible too!
If you freeze cream, it changes to ice-cream. And ice-cream melts back to cream
on a hot day!

both reversible and irreversible chemical reactions.

acetic acid found in vinegar.

Let's Hatch a Rubber Egg!

START HERE

1. Make sure a parent is available to help.
2. You will need a raw egg, vinegar, plastic wrap, and a glass.

3. Gently place the egg into the glass.
4. Pour vinegar into the glass until it covers the egg.
5. Cover the glass with plastic wrap. Let it sit for 24 hours.

6. After 24 hours, pour out the vinegar, replace it with fresh vinegar, and wait another 24 hours.
