El Proyecto del Cañón El Boquerón

The first project was the school that Mr. Paul gave the students in this community in 2014. One of these pressing needs was for a secondary school where young people could study. Therefore, Mr. Paul met with people in our village to discuss this. 

El primer proyecto es el instituto que regaló Don Pablo en el año 2014 para los estudiantes en esta comunidad Seacacar. Una de las necesidades graves con el instituto secundario para que estudian los jóvenes. Por lo tanto, Pablo dejo la información con el alcalde, y el tenia que generar las informaciones hacia la gente que a partir de ese. Entonces se reunieron las personas para hablar sobre la idea que había dejado Don Pablo para dicho comunidad.

Empezó a buscar los albañiles para construir el bungalow y el esta mandando el dinero para pagar los albañiles y pagar el transporte que jalando los materiales y hasta ahora está cambiando creciendo el proyecto.

He began to look for builders to construct this bungalow and sent the money to pay the builders and pay to transport the materials. This project is still in process.

Por eso Don Pablo es un hombre amable por que el se dio cuenta que el salón todavía falta de termina y hacer y el compró los materiales y termine de hacer el salón o el instituto y ahora esta hecho todo y se quedo bien.

That&apos;s why Mr. Paul is a kind man because he noticed that the building wasn&apos;t finished yet so he bought materials needed to complete the building. Now everything works and all is well.

También Don Pablo lo regaló una panel solar para que los estudiantes y los maestros podrían hacer trabajos con tabletas y computadoras. Entonces el Jefe del proyecto gastó muchos dineros para terminar de hacer. 

Mr. Paul also gave a solar panel so the students and teachers could use tablets and computers. So the boss of the project spent a lot of money to complete this project.

Los alumnos de la nueva escuela tienen la responsabilidad de ayudar con el proyecto turístico. Una de las cosas que hemos hecho es construir un sendero para los turistas. Este sendero va hacia el Cañón del Boquerón.

The students in the new school have a responsibility to help with the tourism project. One of the things we’ve done is to build a trail for tourists. This trail goes to the Boquerón Canyon.

Algunos de los estudiantes recibieron capacitación para ser guías. Tomarán los turistas en un tubo interior a través del Boquerón Cañon. Los turistas les gusta ver la naturaleza. Por esta razón, los líderes comunitarios (COCODES) han llegado a un acuerdo (Acta) para proteger esta área.

Some of the students received training to be guides. They will take the tourists on an inner tube float through the Boquerón Canyon. Tourists like to see nature. For this reason the community leaders (Cocodes) have made an agreement (Acta) to protect this area.

Sin embargo, don Pablo tiene una idea para hacer un Centro de Visitantes. Y empezó de hacer compro los materiales para la construcion y aviso a los comité y los cocodes. Para que buscaban el lugar donde se queda el centro cuando ya esta encontrado el lugar. 

Without a doubt, Mr. Paul had the idea to create a Visitors Center. He began by buying the materials for construction and notifying the committee and Cocodes. Then they looked for the best location for this building.

El salón quiera muchas materiales como mesas y sillas.

The building needed a lot of materials like tables and chairs.

El jefe del proyecto dice que tenemos que buscar un maestro como tutor de básico para enseñar a los estudiantes. Ya los 30 días del mes de marzo, ahí empieza a estudiar.

The boss of the project said that we had to look for a secondary teacher to teach the students. By the 30th of March, we had begun to study.

Cuando vino Don Pablo se dio cuenta que el puente esta muy fea todas los materiales del puente y esta arruinados todos las maderas.

When Mr Paul came, he noticed that the bridge was ugly. All the materials of the bridge and the wood were ruined.

Este proyecto comenzó en esta comunidad Seacacar, por los extranjeros o los viajeros que pasaron por el Rio Sauce. Ellos se dieron cuenta que en esta región tenía un crisis de recursos económicos como en una de las suyas, y vieron la serie de necesidades que afrontó a la comunidad.

This project in this community of Seacacar began when foreigners or travelers passed through on the Sauce River. They noticed that this region is in an economic crisis and saw the serious needs facing the community.

Entonces, ahora tengo que mandar el económico para construir el puente y pague o compre los materiales que quiere el puente para la construcción. Esta es el segundo trabajo que hizo Don Pablo con el proyecto de la comunidad.

So, he purchased the materials needed to build a new bridge. This is the second project that Mr. Paul did for the community.

Mi nombre es Edgar Francisco Hor Tacaj. Tengo 16 años y estoy cursando segundo básico en el centro educativo pueblo nuevo. Me gusta hacer los libros por que es importante en mi vida personal.

My name is Edgar Francisco Hor Tacaj. I am 16 years old and I&apos;m in Second Basic in the new village education center. I like to make books because it&apos;s important in my personal life.

El bungalow está construido en dos niveles. En el primer nivel se encuentra la cocina y dormitorio y el escenario para descansar y discutir entre ellos mismos los visitantes. 

The bungalow has two levels. On the first level is a kitchen and one room and a terrace where visitors can relax and have conversations.
