The Day I Knew the Meaning of My Name

‏It was May 13, 2003 when I was born in a hospital at Kabul, Afghanistan. Before I was born my parents chose the name Sajjad for me.

این ممکن است به 13 بود، 2003 زمانی که من در یک بیمارستان در کابل، افغانستان متولد شد. قبل از اینکه من به دنیا آمد پدر و مادرم نام مرا انتخاب کرد سجاد .

‏I looked at my mom and I saw her cooking food for us and our guests my uncles and aunts. I heard chattering in living room where everybody was sitting.

من به مادرم زد نگاه کرد و من غذا پخت و پز خود را برای ما و مهمانان ما عمه ها و خاله من دیدم. من شنیده ام قروچه در اتاق نشیمن که در آن همه نشسته بود

‏I touched the smooth table at kitchen and I smelled the food cooking in the kitchen also. I could taste the food cooking and I couldn't with to eat it.

I looked at my mom and I asked her mom, What does my name mean? Then she answered me back and she said that my name means Worshiper of Allah.

من جدول صاف در آشپزخانه را لمس کرد و من بوی غذا پخت و پز در آشپزخانه. من می توانم پخت و پز مواد غذایی تست و من نمی توانستم با آن را بخورم.

من به مادرم زد نگاه کرد و من مادر او ، نام من به چه معنی خواسته ؟ سپس او به من گفت که نام من معنی عبادت خدا.

I looked at my mom and I asked her mom, What does my name mean? Then she answered me back and she said that my name means Worshiper of Allah.

‏I now realize that the parents that are Muslim they always choose Islamic names for their children. This experience showed me that Islamic parents always let their children know In this experience I learned that parents that are Muslim does their name means.

پدر و مادر که مسلمان هستند آنها همیشه نام های اسلامی برای فرزندان خود انتخاب نمایید. این تجربه به من نشان داد که پدر و مادر اسلامی همواره اجازه دهید کودکان خود معنای نام خود را می دانم

من یاد گرفتم که انتخاب نام اسلامی برای کودکان برای پدر و مادر در فرهنگ من مهم است.
