1. Golden Rule: Treat others how you'd like to be treated.

5. Cell phones must be turned off and placed in the cell phone holder at the front of the classroom.

Assignment Expectations:
Marking Period Grades will be calculated as outlined below:

70% of your total grade will be from primary assignments/assessments. (Projects, Presentations, Skills-Based Tests, Essays/Extensive Writing)

30% of your total grade will be from secondary assignments/assessments. (Participation, Reading Checks/Quizzes, Book of the Month, Independent Practice Assignments, Classwork, HW)
1. All work should be completed to the best of your ability.

2. Complete all assignments on time. Late work will be accepted with a penalty.

3. Plagiarism or cheating of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in an automatic zero, no matter the assignment.

4. Absences: If you are absent, you are expected to check Google Classroom for any missed work.
