INTRODUCTION

Last year,my classmates and I took part in an exchange tour in South Korea.It was a fantastic tour!
On this study tour,we went to a local primary school to study with a Korean classmate.We stayed at his home for four months.
THOUGHTS BEFORE THE TRIP

Before we left Hong Kong,my dad reminded me and my classmates some eating tips and some Korean cultures.We listen carefully and write down on our notebook.

EATING MANNERS

The family brought the food out of the table but we could not eat until the oldest person took a bite first.In Hong Kong,people do not need to wait until the oldest person to take a bite first.We felt confused because Hong Kong people can take a bite before the oldest. And in Korea,we need to wait for the oldest to take a bite first.
I want to take a bite first!

SEATING

In Korea,we felt sad because the young members need to sit near the door.We thought it was smelly and dirty.However,Hong Kong's young members can sit next to the window.I was anxious because it was not safe to sit near the door. Some hot dishes might be served there!

UTENSILS

In Korea,we used chopsticks that are made of metal.We found them very heavy.It is hard to grab the food.But in Hong Kong,people use chopsticks that are made of wood.Korean chopsticks are similar to Hong Kong's chopsticks. I felt motivated because both places use chopsticks to eat. But I felt sad because Korea chopsticks are made of metal. I didn't like the taste of them.
