What Happened to the Fish_Mrs. Kee’s Class Predictons

I think the fish almost ate the mouse but it did not.

The first part of <a xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" href="https://www.amazon.com/Could-Have-Been-Worse/dp/0760759812/ref=la_B00459FYKS_1_1?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1512871337&amp;sr=1-1">It Could Have Been Worse</a>, by A. H. Benjamin, was read to the students. We discussed using clues from the text and illustrations to make predictions about what might happen next in the story. The students opened the <a xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" href="http://www.redjumper.net/bookcreator/">Book Creator</a> app on their iPad. Within the app, they were able to illustrate and write what they thought would happen next in the story. Then they recorded their narration. Finally, the book was airdropped to me so that all pages could be combined into one class book. The students were encouraged to sound out the words as they wrote so you will see some invented spelling. We enjoyed using our predictions to create this ePub book and hope you like our story!

The Background Before the Prediction Mouse was trying to cross a stream by using the stepping-stones. What Mouse didn't know was that there was a large fish leaping out of the water toward him! What would happen next?

And now, here's what happened in the book . . .

The mouse slipped and fell just in time to miss the mouth of the fish. Instead, the fish ended up with its mouth open wide with a stick stuck in it! 

I think the fox eat the mose and the fish hit the rock

I think  the fish 🐟 ate the  mouse 🐭 

I think the fich will try to eat the mouse 

I think. The fox is going to get the maws.
