The grand clock ticked, Tick, tock, tick, tock. Great grinding gears, spinning against one another. Red-ish rust rightfully rotating. You could smell it in the air, Terribly too thick. One massive gear rotates right, The other left. Holding the heavy hands, are the only thing I can do. Barely beyond the between I can almost taste the fresh air. But I’m stuck here, In time, All alone. - Alicia

“A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts Express, 41 o&apos;clock Harry looked behind him and saw a wrought-iron archway where the ticket box had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it. He had done it. Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every colour wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to each other in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks. The first few carriages were already packed with students, some hanging out of the window to talk to their families, some fighting over seats. Harry pushed his trolley off down the platform in search of an empty seat. He passed a round-faced boy who was saying, &apos;Gran, I&apos;ve lost my toad again &apos;Oh, Neville, he heard the old woman sigh. A boy with dreadlocks was surrounded by a small crowd &apos;Give us a look, Lee, go on. The boy lifted the lid of a box in his arms and the people around him shrieked and yelled as something inside poked out a long, hairy leg.”

Society is an association based on etiquette. In it’s whole it’s a knife, used to divide those living. It has power That is a used as a pathway to corruption. Society has leaders, Who control; disrupt, manipulate Me and others; who make up society. It’s a theory, Meaning it’s constantly spilt, changed, switched. At the end It’s a petal, That can fall from the core.

A engine was waiting next to people. Smoke drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd of owls. They hooted, in a disgruntled sort of way. The first few were already fighting. Pushed. Off, down in search of a toad, again. Surrounded by a crowd. And the people s h r i e k e d. - Alicia

It’s looks vary in colours, And runs and plays with all the others, It’s sounds are so distinct and unique, All the other’s are too bleak, It says “hello” in different languages, Some I don’t understand, The glare it gives is almost like a striking demand, It’s voice is high-pitch, with the slight emotion that can be bent, It spilt up has a purpose and an intent, Rightfully remember, It’s attitude always changes to the person sitting close, Sometimes we’re all appalled. It’s name is Worldview, Yes that’s the name it’s called. Alicia

I am Alicia, The short one that can see you in the hall, But I bet you can’t see me because your looking at the side of a wall. Make fun all you want, Hide n’ Seek, that’s something I can use as a taunt. My hair is as brown as the bark of a pine tree. While my eyes ares as blue as the sea, I play my favourite sports all year round, Now you don’t have to wonder why I save my cheers and don’t make a sound. I walk and talk with energetic prances, I wonder why I even look like I’m doing strange dances. I’m a loud human, just like the drums I play. Art, well… I can kind of mold clay. I love to public speak, maybe even too much. I don’t like that frozen cream upon a cone, nope none of such. Dark, it’s a scary thing for me, I don’t have control because even a chair is something I can’t see. Avocado rolls are the thing that I eat, Sorry, Vegetarians I also eat different varieties of other meat. The rainbow, oh all the colours! Purple is the one that I pick over the others. Fantasy books, I’m in another world One without rules always being twisted and curled. I thrive for a chance to use my branch of creativity, It makes me have a lot of positivity! - Alicia

Hello! My name is Alicia and I’m grade nine student in Performance Learning Program at Seycove Secondary. I’m also a very social and active person. This eBook I’ve created for this awesome project shows the varieties of different poems that I have been working on throughout this project. These poems have been a creative outlet to showcase all the different aspects of my worldview. Furthermore, each poem has been individually crafted to suit one aspect of my worldview. The overall all eBook is also my representation of this project because it’s the factor that I think connects best to the curricular competency I’m trying to grow at.

I slide the open the door. Creak CREAK creaky, Quiet eerie darkness It makes me feel blue, Paint chipped from the walls, Crunching loudly. I’m falling apart. Where are you? This new place is different, I’m frightened should I even be here, In another world? I hear rustling footsteps behind me, Crunch. Snap. Bang It’s you! I’m now home. Alicia

Geography Places far and near It’s differences that we all share Now, get off your couch

Knowledge I gather it fast, From those who already know, I make it my own.

I’m in my home. Sewing pieces of fabric together. Under the machine’s little light, I’m trying to finish these masks, I’m going to keep sewing more and more, To earn all that pride. I need the money, well actually I want it! Time has ticked, I have butterflies. I must finish, so I keep working. I want to fill up the piggy bank, Hopefully I can hear that clank, Like a fulfilling sound. I need to make money, So I’ll finally fit into society. Finally I’m done. Wait! I only made… Six dollars?! - ALICIA
