The NFL was started September 26th 1920.
But did you know that college football was first played on November 6th 1869?
That was over a hundred fifty years ago!
There were only 100 fans at that game!

There are coaches, refs and people with the water bottles for the players.
The water bottle carrier´s jobs are supposed to run from player to player to give them water so they can stay hydrated. While they are playing, they need more water because they are getting hot and sweating. If they don´t get more water they will get sick.
The offensive coordinator´s job is for when there is a run or a pass he calls the play so they know what to do when they have the ball.
The defensive coordinator´s job is to call when they need to blitz, play zone, or play man when they don't have the ball. A blitz is when they have to go sack, or tackle, the other team´s quarterback. Play zone is where the players line up with 4 safeties in the back and 4 linebackers in the front to try to prevent a touchdown. The play man is when they choose a guy to guard so they wont get the ball. Man is risky because if you make one false move, it is easy for the other team to make a touchdown.

Here are some rivalries. There is the Wisconsin Badgers versus the Ohio State Buckeyes. That is a big ten rivalry. Also Wisconsin Badgers vs Northwestern Wildcats is a big ten rivalry.

The Packers/Bears game has been around for 100 years. That is 200 games played, wow! There is the Lions vs Minnesota Vikings, Chiefs vs Patriots, Packers vs Lions, Packers vs Vikings.
