Some friends were at a restaurant. They work at the restaurant. The restaurant is near their homes and there are many customers. It’s very busy. But, there is a problem because they don’t have enough money.

They need to go to work everyday and there are no other options for work here. A friend asks his friend, “Are there any better jobs in the city? We need more money.”

The friends look on the internet for better jobs. One friend says, “Is there a better job?”. The other friend responds, “No, there isn’t.” sadly. Then the other friend says, “Yes, there is, look! I found a job working with UPS. We can make 35 dollars an hour.”

They go in an Uber across the bridge to the office building with the UPS boss. They talk with the boss. They ask the boss, “Are there any openings for a new job?” The boss responds, “No, there aren’t.” They both feel sad. They stare at the boss and don’t know what to say.

The friends look on the internet for better jobs. One friend says, “Is there a better job?”. The other friend responds, “No, there isn’t.” sadly. Then the other friend says, “Yes, there is, look! I found a job working with UPS. We can make 35 dollars an hour.”

All of the sudden, there is a large clap. A door opens, and a UPS worker comes near them from the factory. He tells the boss, “I quit!” The boss is very angry.

The boss is very angry. He needs new workers. He tells both of the friends, “You can have a job.” They are both glad. They know they can make more money and not have to work at the restaurant nearby their homes. The boss says there isn’t time to train today, but to come back tomorrow to start.
