1 After learning to sing a song, students create an animation based on that song. In this lesson the song is about ghosts in old Tallinn (Villu Valdmaa "Kummitava kuulutaja laul vanast Tallinnast", lyrics by Leelo Tungal) 2 Drawing characters and backgrounds 3 Creating animations in iMotion 4 Recording soundtracks in iMovie (students play real instruments where possible) 5 Editing animations in iMovie: titles, sounds, credits 6 Presentations and feedback

Each group gets an iPad, a pencil and the checklist with numbers to keep track on which sentences have been brought to the 'base' 1 Running dictation. Students walk/run around, find labels with sentences. They learn the sentences by heart, come to the 'base' and dictate it to an ExplainEverything slide (one by one). For dictation Internet connection is needed; without it students can type instead. Ideal number of sentences is 1-3 per student/pair 2 When the group have gathered all the sentences, they drag them into correct order to make a story.

3 Preparations for making a comic book: students share tasks for drawing the backgrounds and characters. When finished, they cut out all characters so that they can be easily moved on the background 4 Creating a comic book with BookCreator. Students arrange the scenes, take photos within the app, add speech bubbles and other texts. All texts can be copied from the Explain Everything slide. 5 Presentations and feedback

They use their imagination and they categorize the colors according to their thoughts. 2 After that we project the categorization and we discuss with our students the similarities and the differences with their own work. 3 We project some paintings and we talk about the feelings that we have when we look at them. 4 Students make groups of two, they take a tablet and they use the application “Paper”. They create a painting “divided” in two halves using warm and cold colors. 5 They print their works of art and they make their own exhibition.

Students will learn that colors are divided into three main categories: warm, cold and neutral. They will learn to express their feelings Finally they create their own artwork based on what they learned. They will improve their ICT skills

1 Listening to the story of <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Sleeping-Beauty-Brothers-Grimm/dp/1849744459">Sleeping Beauty</a>. While listening, students draw pictures (A3) of what they hear. 2 Reading the story aloud, paying attention to pronunciation and intonation. Learning <a href="https://quizlet.com/pillekaisel/folders/sleeping-beauty">vocabulary</a>. Some parts of the text can be learned by heart. 3 Collective writing of the story. Every student (or pair of students) has an iPad. They open Pages and start writing. After some time they pass their iPads to the next student who first reads the story and then continues writing. Repeat several times until the end of the story.

4 Proof reading. Students read the ready stories and correct mistakes. 5 Creating a video of the story with ExplainEverything. Students choose appropriate drawings (they can use anyones pictures), take photos within the app, cut and resize them, and copy passages of the story. Finally they record their reading and export the file to a video. 6 Presentations and feedback.

1. Print labels with sentences on bright coloured paper, number them randomly; laminate. Before lesson hang them in the school yard on trees, bushes, fences etc (or indoors on walls) 2 Print a checklist for each group 3 Get ready stuff for drawing: paper, crayons, scissors etc
