1 In September, on the autumnal equinox day, students take part in the <a href="http://eratosthenes.ea.gr/content/experiment">Eratosthenes experiment</a> and calculate the Earth's circumference

EXPLORE AND HAVE FUN WHILE THE FOUR SEASONS RUN

Students will: - notice changes ongoing in nature throughout the year - compare the seasons in different countries - keep records of the matters observed and measured, - share their ideas and opinions with students from other countries - practise English vocabulary concerning the topic of seasons in a year

Students will... - learn what energy is - get know typical energy sources and means to produce energy - notice the differences between partner countries in energy producing - examine where we need energy and how much. - visit local energy producing places - find ways to reduce energy use and save energy.

3. Character lottery: characters from all countries will be divided into 5 groups, one from each country. Each partners will get a set to start a story. We'll use&nbsp;<a href="https://www.classtools.net/random-name-picker/">Random Name Picker</a>

4. Writing stories&nbsp;with characters from 5 different countries. Each partner writes something in their mother tongue, translates it into English, then passes the unfinished work to the next country to continue. Upload to PADLET for others to comment and give feedback (Each story woll have its own padlet wall). 4. Healthy food isn't enough - to be healthy, you need to be physically active too. An idea from Finland to have some exercise during our lessons. The cat has become a celebrity in all partner schools. We all love both the cat and the movements!
