1 We ask our students what comes in their mind when they hear the word “teacher”. 1 Discussion with the whole group about senses 2 Explaining students the task, making pairs 3 In pairs, students open the Pages worksheet in their iPads and insert their names 4 In pairs, students take a number from a basket. They have to find a QR code with the same label, complete the task, write the answer to worksheet and come back to the teacher for the next number (TIP for teachers- do not put the number back to the basket until the task is completed) 5 Discussion with the whole group: checking answers, commenting, giving feedback.

Learning about History from the perspective of a contemporary person Improving ITC-skills

This activity: - helps students to understand the meaning of healthy habits in every day life - improves ITC-skills by using Loquiz app - improves students and their parents collaboration skills - improves map reading and orienteering skills

1-2 students with their parents or grandparents

1 Discussion about healthy habits with the whole class. 2 Dividing the class in to groups of four students and giving each group a healthy habits slogan (e.g. Play Outdoors, Be Active, Eat Healthy, Sleep well) 3 Have students work in groups to look around the environment and form the letters of the slogan with their bodies or with natural materials (e.g. stones, sticks, cones). 3 Taking picture of each letter and edit the photos. 4 Creating the final document of the slogan with an app which the students chose (e.g. PicCollage or Corkulous) 5 Presentation of the final documents and sharing and uploading them. 6 Assessment discussion together with the whole class (what was the best and the hardest part of the activity, how was the team working together etc.)

1 Teacher makes a quiz about healthy habits to Loquiz/Actionbound app. 2 Groups use the app with their iPads and walk around the school building and school yard along the given&nbsp;route they see in the app. Every time when they reach the marked point in the map an exercise opens on their iPad. There is either a question to answer or a simple task to complete with the whole group.&nbsp; They send the answers or photos via the app so that teacher can see the answers in her own computer. The teacher can also see all the time in which point every group is working at the moment and how many exercises they have already done. 3 After every group has done all tasks teacher can show the statistics/results how well groups have got through the quiz.&nbsp; 4 Finally students can tell what was the most important or new thing that they learn about healthy habits and how they could use the new information in their own lives.

One group creates a collage using PicCollage app 4 Choosing roles in the groups (camerapersons, editors, actors etc.) 5 Filming and editing the scenes. 6 Creating the final video together. 7 Adding voice and special effects to the movie. 8 Presentation of the final video and sharing it via Youtube. 9 Assessment discussion together with the whole class (what was the best and the hardest part of the activity, how was the team working together etc.)
