“Rang Tans Afterschool Club is run by Ofsted registered childminders Louisa &amp; Nicky. We hold the afterschool club in the Kenda classroom, along with the use of the outside play areas. Each session runs from end of school - 5.30pm at a cost of £10.00 per child/session. The price includes a nutritious snack - 3 fruits/veg, a yoghurt &amp; a carbohydrate &amp; protein i.e. Crumpets/muffins /wraps/pasta/sandwiches/cheese/ham/chicken/tuna)

Early Birds is held in the main school hall and opens at 8.00am, although children can arrive any time up until 8.40am. The children supervised by two members of school staff and have access to a range of activities and games. Please note - we do not provide breakfast for the children so please make sure they eat at home.

Sessions cost £1.50 Payment is required in adavance of your child attending and is made through our Parent Pay system.

Trauma Informed Schools UK is a registered community interest company working in association with the Centre for Child Mental Health. It provides training to ensure that every adult in a school or community has the skills and understanding to respond appropriately to the relational and emotional needs children may display. TiS supports schools to create a mentally healthy environment and culture in which all within the school community, adults and children alike, can flourish and achieve. It advocates a whole school response and evidenced based relational approaches to provide an enriched environment to buffer the impact of stress that may&#160;result from adversity and painful life events. In addition, specially trained Trauma and Mental Health Informed Practitioners offer targeted intervention&#160;to&#160;children who may be experiencing challenges within their life that without support may act as a barrier to&#160;their ability to fully engage with life and learning.&#160;

Our school uniform consists of: -&nbsp; White shirt/polo shirt,&nbsp; Grey/black trousers or skirts,&nbsp; Royal blue pullovers or cardigans,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Blue/white checked dresses (may be worn in the summer)&nbsp; All footwear should be black in colour and well fitting (shoes not trainers). Heavy boots, high heels, platform shoes, flimsy sandals etc can all cause problems when children run around at playtime or sit together on the floor. Please consider this when choosing your child’s footwear.&nbsp; PE Black shorts,&nbsp; Plain white T-shirt&nbsp; Black plimsolls/trainers for PE.&nbsp; Black track suit bottoms may be worn during winter months for outdoor PE but should not replace shorts.&nbsp; Our uniform along with book bags etc., and other items can be purchased at&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="https://myclothing.com/">https://myclothing.com/</a>

"Tapestry keeps you in touch with your child&#8217;s day wherever you are"

Tapestry is an easy-to-use and secure online learning journal that helps staff and families across Aspire academies celebrate their children’s learning and development both at school and home. Tapestry facilitates this by enabling a personal journal that builds over time. Photographs, videos and notes of special moments will be made available regularly to you via your iPhone or Android App. More details on how to activate your Tapestry account will be shared once your child starts school.

All children in our Early Years (EYFS) classes are entitled to a free school meal every day. These delicious meals are cooked on site by our catering team, and make the most of local suppliers and fresh produce. Children are also welcome to bring a healthy packed lunch from home instead.
