All of these students have worked tirelessly to create an informative, fun, and colorful magazine. The purpose of this magazine is to inform the school about important events, but it is also to give students recognition for their achievements.
(And a special thanks to Ms.Axlerad for helping us with the Magazine!)

Student of the week
- Jinobli Hardy
Jinobli Hardy's teacher Ms. Phillips, picked him to be the elementary student of the week because, "He is always on top of his school work. He loves to learn and loves to help other students learn" she goes on to state that, "Jinobli is constantly asking what he can do to help around the classroom and that he has a contagious positive attitude and energy that spreads around the classroom. He is a tremendous joy to teach," states Ms. Philips. We had a chance to ask him how he feels to be picked, and he stated that he felt good. Jinobli thinks he was chosen because he's really smart "because my mom taught me what 100 Γ· 100 is."
Jacob Maldonado was chosen for the middle school student of the week by his teacher Ms. Axelrad. We asked Ms. Axelrad why she chose him to be student of the week and she said "He always completes his work on time, he tends to be the first to volunteer to help his teachers and classmates whenever they need it, he's always polite to people, he always participates in class and overall a joy to have." We also had a chance to interview Jacob and ask him some questions. We asked him how he feels about being chosen for student of the week and he said that he feels good about it and happy that Ms. Axelrad was the person that chose him. We also asked him if he thinks that he deserves to be the student of the week and he said no because he feels like he tends to talk in class.
