You, yes you can be the in GSOTA magazine! Whether it is just an interview, drawing, or a story. We want to know! All you have to do is fill out the form below, and good luck!

All of these students have worked tirelessly to create an informative, fun, and colorful magazine. The purpose of this magazine is to inform the school about important events, but it is also to give students recognition for their achievements.

(And a special thanks to Ms. Axelrad for helping us out on the magazine!)

The middle school student of the week is Makari, picked by Ms. Mutcher. She choose him because "Makari is a wonderful student.&nbsp;He works diligently on assignments, participates in class, volunteers to help with classroom tasks, and is kind to others." He thinks he does deserves student of the week because "I'm really good, I do all of her work every day." He also feels proud of himself.  Super nice and smart student.

For this week's elementary shoutout Ms. Hicks has chosen Alan (a kindergarten student). When we asked Ms. Hicks why she picked Alan, she said that, "He is a good listener and he's good with his friends."

When we asked him on his feelings about getting a shoutout he said, " I feel happy and excited." A cute student with a lot going for him.

In Mrs. O'Brien's Career Exploration class. A class about exploring different jobs options, how to find a job that is unique to you, and the pathways to various careers. What they are doing for this week class is learning about higher education like colleges and how to finance for said higher education.

Mrs. O'Brien stated why Career Exploration class is important, she says, "It's always good to identify goals and it's never too early to start exploring potential opportunities for the future. Everyone deserves to work in a career that they find meaningful and fulfilling, so it helps to learn where to find those kind of jobs" It is a super important class and a fun one too, They even have Monopoly Monday's!

This week's animal of the week is the Red Panda's. The Red Panda scientific name is the Alurus Fulgens. It is part of the raccoon family and there are only 10,000 left in the world. They live in places like China, Nepal, Bhutan, and spend most of their time in trees.

*They have been around for about 4.5 and 12 million years. *Red Pandas live in super high altitudes *They have a false thumb. *There bright fur coat acts like camouflage.
