The middle school student of the week is Makari, picked by Ms. Mutcher. She choose him because "Makari is a wonderful student. He works diligently on assignments, participates in class, volunteers to help with classroom tasks, and is kind to others." He thinks he does deserves student of the week because "I'm really good, I do all of her work every day." He also feels proud of himself. Super nice and smart student.
For this week's elementary shoutout Ms. Hicks has chosen Alan (a kindergarten student). When we asked Ms. Hicks why she picked Alan, she said that, "He is a good listener and he's good with his friends."

Animal of the week
This week's animal of the week is the Red Panda's. The Red Panda scientific name is the Alurus Fulgens. It is part of the raccoon family and there are only 10,000 left in the world. They live in places like China, Nepal, Bhutan, and spend most of their time in trees.

*They have been around for about 4.5 and 12 million years.
*Red Pandas live in super high altitudes
*They have a false thumb.
*There bright fur coat acts like camouflage.
