We got a chance to interview the student of the week Fiona P and her teacher Ms. Brown. We asked Ms. Brown "Why did you chose Fiona as the Student of The Week?" and she responded with "I chose Fiona because she is a spirited, trustworthy, and creative third grader who always strives to do her best and she loves to communicate with all her classmates and teachers."

FSA Perfects Scores
Last year the students of GSOTA took the FSA. A couple students got a perfect score on it. Gabrielle Edwards, 8th grade, got a perfect score on her math FSA. Claire Torres, 4th grade, also got a perfect score on her math FSA. Zephyr Hicks 8th grade got a perfect score on his math and civics FSA. We got a chance to ask them how the felt about it, Gabrielle stated that, " she felt shocked that she got a perfect score on the math FSA". Claire stated that she felt "good" and "happy" that she got a perfect score, she also predicted that she was going to get a perfect score. Zephyr stated that, "I guess I got a few questions right." He was surprised and he didn't think he was going to get a perfect score on Math and Civics FSA. Shout out to all the students of GSOTA, you all did a good job!!
