You, yes you can be the GSOTA magazine! Whether it is just an interview, drawing, or a story. We want to know! All you have to do is fill out the form below, and good luck!

All of these students have worked tirelessly to create an informative, fun, and colorful magazine. The purpose of this magazine is to inform the school about important events, but it is also to give students recognition for their achievements.

Middle School Engineering Class

In Mrs. Rothenberg's Engineering class we got to see what they were learning and how it may relate to engineering. In the class the students are learning the steps of the engineering design process, are working to design and develop prototypes for its different challenges related to its design.

We asked Mrs. Rothenberg, "do you enjoy teaching the class?" She responded, "I do, it's fun watching their designs come together."

"In the future expect to see other structure projects that might hold a tennis ball" Mrs. Rothenberg stated.

In this picture we have Tatum, Sebastian, and Cliff. They are building the tallest standing tower in their class, out of paper and tape.

Current Fashion Trends: Y2K

This week's animal is the Capybara! The Capybara is part of the rodent family. The Capybara is actually the largest rodent in the species. They live in &nbsp;places like Venezuela, Guyana, Peru, Brazil, and Uruguay, and they mostly spend their time in water; mostly along the Amazon River.

A lot of animals are really friendly with Capybaras as well. People think that it is because Capybaras are social animals and their gentle nature.

In the last couple of months Y2K fashion has been all the rage, the style comes from the 2000s. When celebrities like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton dominated the Y2K fashion style, as the name suggests, Y2K (Year 2000) is&nbsp;a trend recreating the late '90s fashion and early-to-mid 2000's fashion styles. Resulting from blending pop culture with the latest (for those times) tech advancements, Y2K fashion has a unique style. Famous celebrities who were influenced by the Y2K fashion statement include Dua Lipa and Kendall Jenner, both of who still rock the Y2K to this day, thanks to their nostalgic approach to the street style. Trends from Sk8r Boy Suspenders all the way to  track suit outfits, Y2K fashion is back.

The reporters got a chance to interview Coach Milsaint about elementary school P.E. Coach said that his main goal for the elementary kids are to make sure the kids stay active and said that it is also to prepare the elementary school kids for middle school P.E and middle school in general.

Coach's future plans for Elementary P.E.students is to help make sure the younger generation stays healthy by implementing sports, and to make sure they get better behavior because as Mr Milsaint saids "sports play a big role in collage and growing up." 

He was great to work with and super passionate about his job.

For the middle school student of the week Mrs. O'Brien picked Keegan McMahon. She stated, that "Keegan was selected because he always works so diligently and is the ultimate team player." When we interviewed Keegan we asked, "What does it feel like to get on the GSOTA Magazine?" He said, "It feels great, everyone is gonna see my good face." He was great to work with, a super positive and fun person.

For the elementary student of the week Ms.Lexie picked Lilly G, a second grader. She stated, that "even though she is new to the school she always working hard and always on task." We also had a chance to asked Lilly how she felt that she was pick to be in the GSOTA Magazine, she said "that was exciting!" and that she "felt like a star!"
