Ms.Rodriguez picked Abigail for the student of the week. Ms.Rodrigues chose Abigail because, “she is very bright, caring, thoughtful, and positive.” She also stated that, “her attitude near changes or fades, she’s a joy to have.” Abigail said, “I think I deserve it because I feel like I do all my work and listen.” She was super happy she was chosen.

The student of the week this week was picked by Mr. Teller. He chose 6th grader Amberlynn. Mr. Teller said that he choose Amber because "She is a sweet wonderful person, and she's very smart as well." Amberlynn said she felt surprised and happy. "I think I deserve it because I do the best I can." She said when asked do you think you deserve to be in the magazine. When interviewed Amberlynn was responsible and respectful, smart girl with a lot going for her.

This is a vampire squid!! This sea creature looks like a squid and an octopus. It comes from the early ancestors of the octopus and it's considered to be an extremophile. An extremophile is organism that thrives in extreme environment. Vampire squids are usually 12 inches long , and usually weigh around one pound, but don't worry it's not poisonous!!
