UNIVERSAL ART AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

1. Universal Art

Architecture and the visual arts remain guidelines in the development
of a culture because they are plastic expressions of spirituality.
We have the opportunity to become increasingly aware of our environment,
the four dimensional universe, and the intrinsic value of it.
The intelligent human being considers himself as a part of mankind,
being present on a planet and thus it acts in human life.
To create society we all belong and add to the developing “structure”.
Communication and interaction are keywords in this perspective.

In this epoch we are positioned in a liberal–capitalist society which
pinpoints the position of the individual as an economic unity,
often at the cost of social coherence.
On the other hand, liberalism gives us the possibilities of choice
and individual development.

In the cultures, the arts have a common goal, and sometimes this has been
translated in historic materialism in the environmental, civic, art.
Design for the public is necessary but should further develop.

Liberal capitalism is the form of the material outer-world, with
limited economical freedom.
But the core of the matter is not the material outer world, but the
spiritual inner world.

Art is the ideal communicative entity for this purpose.
Man exists to design and add to create.
All the created is the result of focused thought.

When we can search for a new design and architecture which is less
materialistic in form and contents, we can design a less materialistic,
more spiritual society.

If not to become vague or esoterically, we can apply a scientific
vision as the foundation for art and architecture.
An enormous, still growing quantity of scientific and philosophical
discoveries and issues, nowadays form essential parts of our knowledge.

The Renaissance and Baroque architecture were good examples
of almost universal art because in those days there was a great interest
in philosophy, science and mathematics.
One of the basic mathematical aspects in architecture involves
axes and space–time axes. In the Baroque architecture one of the main features
was the horizontal central axis, relating to the position of man towards nature.

In the modern architecture of van Doesburg, a diagonal space–time axis forms the
essential part, and in the constructions of Baljeu there is an infinite
space–time axis.
Also in the arts of the ‘Stijl’ and the works of Baljeu, the synthesis
of art and architecture forms the basis for a more spiritual
architecture based on a space–time concept.

Thinking implies consciousness and thereby we “are“.
A computer may be capable to “think “, or rather “count “ but it can’t
be aware of space-time.

Reversely thinking, it is also true that if we did not have consciousness,
we would not be capable of perceiving space–time.

It is important to look at artificial intelligence because it may
learn us more about man‘s mind and it‘s relation to space-time.
The capacity of consciousness implies awareness , thought, emotion,
love, existential sensation , language, culture, experience and development.

One can be aware of the fact that the “classical” space–time thinkers
were not currently up to date with the aspect of artificial intelligence.
Their aim was, so to say, to depict space-time rather than the construction
of the mind itself. If they did, they were only capable of perceiving it as progressive
box, serving their platonic thoughts.
Space–time is thereby not anymore fully the general foundation of thought,
because in a way it is an excepted idea among intelligent people.
Roger Penrose, author of books on physics, ends in one of his books with the question
of the construction of the mind, and mentions the fading
of the “classical” assumption of space–time.
Space–time can more or less be seen as a precondition for life such as gravity
or electromagnetism, without denying these.

Our capacity of thought implies impression, assumption, analysis, hypothesis, prognosis,

memory, creativity and calculation.
For as far as we perceive this as a “system”, we can assume that these activities are
necessarily integrated and interactive while in progress.
Twofold it works as a mechanical and non-mechanical “system”,
because we make thoughts concrete in words or other means, while at
the same time, we produce a concept or an idea, which is in first instance immaterial,
and simultaneously it can be transposed by means of communication.

Current issues in mathematics relate to the connection of mathematics and the brain,
applicable on a space–time based concept.

We receive and store information while we are in progress,
so the stored information is also in progress.
Reception and storage of information is thereby four-dimensional.
Everything observed, analysed and created, only for example science and art,
has been the result of the functioning four-dimensional brain of the individual person,
belonging to mankind.
Each four-dimensional consciousness thereby belongs to the four-dimensional individual.
Hofstädter stated in his book Gödel, Escher and Bach, that information perceived is
stored in symbols.
Also, the stored symbols are processed by two systems when we make a thought concrete.

He mentions a two-fold system when we express thought:
declarative knowledge, and procedural knowledge.
Declarative thought is the quantity of stored ”facts” that can be produced,
procedural knowledge reads and programs the stored facts.

Thought is in a certain way constructively seen as the transmissions of ions between neurons.
As entities each belong to themselves, and if they are relative,
one can give, in a mathematical way, each entity a coördinate system.
If every coödinate system has it’s own time-axis, due to four-dimensionality,
each entity may have it’s own time-axis.
If we for instance could give each ion a space-time axis, we can perceive the processing of
the neuron system as a progressive magnitude of space-time axial systems.

The aims of my works are the visualisation of:
The possible construction of thought as it could be in a four-dimensional way,
as a basis for models of abstract and synthetic architecture.
This architecture can have as a goal and subject the donation to a constructive
and consciously thinking, spiritual and four-dimensional society.

OVER DE RELATIE MENS EN NATUUR



Ruimte-tijd is oneindig, dat vertelde mijn leermeester Joost Baljeu. Echter niemand weet wat tijd is.

We zijn in een uitdijend heelal omringd door 300 triljoen sterren. We zijn van sterrenstof gemaakt. Het heelal is naar we nu weten ongeveer 85 miljard jaar oud. Mogelijk zijn er meer oerknallen . Parallelle universa zijn niet ondenkbaar. De ruimte die om de 300 triljoen sterren zit, en daar de progressie van, is de vierde dimensie. Mijn werk gaat over ruimte tijd bewustzijn, waarbij de vijfde dimensie het bewustzijn is. Atomen zitten op membranen. Atoom-deeltjes zijn geen harde bolletjes maar trillingen. Atoom-trillingen bestaan mogelijk uit meer dan 4 dimensies, namelijk nog 7 andere dimensies die opgerold in elke trilling zitten. Beweging is absoluut. We hebben allemaal 'Tao'. In mijn optiek is alles Algoritmisch. Mogelijkerwijs is het bewustzijn Algoritmisch. Algoritmen zijn stapsgewijze systemen met een beginpunt en een oplossing, en worden via kunstmatige intelligentie en computer-wetenschap in verband gebracht met de constructie van denken en bewustzijn. Ik zie meetkundige observaties uit de natuur en daar de abstractie van als een basis voor beeldende en synthetische architectuur. Synthetische architectuur is bedoeld voor een harmonieuze samenleving. Atomen bestaan uit o.a. electronen; die bestaan uit energie en ook licht, we zijn dus allemaal van licht gemaakt volgens de Hindoestaanse leer. Denken is vier dimensionaal omdat denken ruimte en tijd neemt. Denken wordt veroorzaakt door ionen bewegingen tussen neuronen. Wij denken de wereld (citaat van Martin Sjardijn). Wij zijn ons bewustzijn. Mijn werk gaat sinds 1984 over ruimte tijd met meer tijd-assen. Uiteindelijk zou alles een tijd-as kunnen hebben. Mogelijkerwijs heeft daardoor alles een coördinaten-systeem.

We zijn de spirit zelf. We zijn het universum.
We zijn allemaal algoritmisch en we staan allemaal algoritmisch naast elkaar. het bewustzijn is het mooiste in het universum. Een wereld zonder advocaten, artsen en alcoholisten, en zonder legers, wapens en politie. Mijn werk gaat over de oneindige progressie van het denken. Het oneindige universum bestaat uit licht en energie.

Het bewustzijn is gekoppeld aan het hogere. Spirit is de top. Iedereen heeft een algoritmisch bewustzijn. We zijn allemaal het produkt van het hogere. De 'digits' zijn een flirt van het hogere. Licht dat in onze ogen valt biedt de mogelijkheid informatie op te slaan. "The brain is a universe, the universe is a brain". Met mijn hoofd ben ik in mijn geest en het universum overal geweest. Wij denken elkaar.

Parallelle gestuurde ruimten. Tijd is geen enkelvoudige factor, tijd is een meer-ledige factor. Mijn werk gaat over het zien van het hogere. Mijn werk gaat erover dat het universum circa 85 miljard jaar oud is tot dat we bij een utopie uitkomen. Filosofie loopt door onze aderen. De NASA is een gepasseerd ruimtestation. Het hogere bestaat, anders had Catherina de Grote geen penistafels gehad. Dubai is moderne kitsch. Zaha Hadid is een organisch futuristische architect. Met organisch futuristische architectuur verandert de wereld in een vegetarische gehaktbal. Ik hou van : kunst, familie, vrienden, vrouwen, wijn, oesters, zigeuners, boeken en muziek.
We zitten in de gestuurde ruimte, mogelijk op een matrix, en mogelijk zijn wij een computersimulatie
