“You know that abandoned mental
hospital on Bridge Street?” I said“
“Yeah” Venita replied.
“We should do the 24 hour challenge there” I suggested.
“Yeah hard” Venita agreed.

Late on friday night, Venita and I headed off
to the abandoned mental hospital, it was a
half hour walk there, Venita and I made
musical.lys and took photos on snapchat and
we also talked about boys.
The hospital was a two story building,
the windows were boarded up with
creepy graffiti, the cobwebs were like
curtains, the trees were like a witch's
hand, standing in the darkness with
branches like snakes, the fence looks
like a old grannie.
There was a security guard by the door
we stepped him and ran in. We managed
to lose him, all of a sudden I couldn't hear
footsteps anymore.
I heard a loud bang the whole place
went quiet. Venita and I decided to
take a peek AHH!!! I screamed the guard
is dead he was laying on the ground in a
pool of blood. We looked each other in the
eyes and said, “we're not the only ones in
this building”

Venita slipped she had wounded her leg.
OMG!!! I could see her bone, I need to call
the ambulance, but just at that second my
phone died. I grabbed Venita’s phone ohh
no she has no credit. I ran to the room with
all the medicine. I grabbed some pain relief
cream I sprinted back to Venita, I rubbed it
on her leg and sprinted to get a band-aid, It
was old and crusty I tried to bang as much
dust off as I can, she was bleeding to death
I had to put it on. I wrapped it over her leg
then she knocked out. I saw a spooky
shadow it looks like it's coming towards me.
I gaped Venita, I was about to run down the
stairs but the ghost was right there. I looked
back and the only way out was the window
I had no choice I jumped lucky
there was a bush that I fell on.
I ran straight home I told my
nan to call someone she called
the ambulance my nan drove us
to the mental hospital we waited
for the ambulance I called Venita’s
mum and dad. I heard a loud
voice saying get away from my
mental hospital. “Hey” ,I said, “that
sounds like Venita”.The ghost has
taken over Venita. She walked out
“that’s not like Venita ” I felt a slight
shiver down my spine, “something's’
not right here” I mumbled. All of a
sudden Venita floated off into space
and I never saw her again.
