This book was designed for a student in middle school with moderate to severe disabilities. Specifically autism, intellectual disability and language impairment.

ISTE-S for the student 1.7.a. Students use&nbsp;digital tools&nbsp;to connect with learners from a variety of backgrounds and cultures,&nbsp;engaging&nbsp;with them in ways that broaden mutual understanding and learning. Students have access to this online storybook to connect and learn from. This book is a perfect example of engaging the audience and teaching a theme in a way that helps students apply it to their own lives.

ISTE-S as a college student 1.6.b. Students create original works or&nbsp;responsibly repurpose&nbsp;or remix digital resources into new creations. Being a college student, I am given the opportunity to create new resources and materials online. I can adapt or change around the materials. Overall, become more knowledgeable on digital resources and how to create my own work through those.

Indiana Academic Standard- Content Connectors 6.RL.1.a.1: Read a variety of grade level appropriate literature.

ISTE-E as a teacher 2.5.a Use technology to create, adapt and&nbsp;personalize learning experiences&nbsp;that foster&nbsp;independent learning&nbsp;and accommodate&nbsp;learner differences and needs. As the teacher, I can use a variety of online resources and adapt it based on my students needs/abilities. For example, if 15 pages are too much to introduce in one setting then I can reduce the amount of pages we read for each day. I can create Storybooks for each one of my students based on their interests and likes.
