People make money here by growing tobacco, rice, indigo, and cotton.

The Southern colonies are better than the other colonies because it is warmer down here. All the other colonies can have bad winters. We usually don't. Also, you don't have to spend money to make money. That means that in the south you plant a lot. That is how you make money, and the plant always leaves 1 or 2 seeds, which means that you can just plant the remaining seeds, without spending money to buy more seeds and plants.

The climate is warm summers, and land has better soil.

If you're in jail, come to the south because one colony is just for people who are in jail, but someone will set you free and they can bring you there.
