Birch Bay Accident

So I ran down the stairs and went to the bathroom. Then we saw something very helpful! Tweezers! So we pulled the rock out of my hand, although it was not just a plop it hurt and it took time! So after that I asked, “ When are we leaving?” She said, “ In two days.”

After those two days we got into the car and headed out. What an adventure I had! I thought. I am definitely going to be more careful where I step next time! -The End

Then for some strange reason I decided to not wear my shoes anyway! So then I had to cross the cold and pointy rocks to be able to get to the house! As I was walking across the cold spiky ground I tripped on my leg! I tried to find my balance, it didn't work, so then I tried to catch myself with my palms but… I was on the cold and rocky ground.

I checked my knees, nothing, then I checked my palms, and I was in shock when I saw what happened! My mom came to help me. My mom asked “What happened?” When I showed her my palm she was also in shock, I was not surprised that she was shocked. It felt like someone stabbed my palm with a knife!

My birthday is July 19 2012. I am in 5th grade/P8. I am from Czech Republic and America. I love green, I love cats and dogs and I like oversized clothes. I am claustrophobic, and I have arachnophobia, lastly I am an introvert. What inspired me to write this story because this was one of my worst injuries I have ever had in my life. A writers tip is to make the cover interesting, to write in a good and seeable font, and make it interesting.

 I actually couldn’t believe it, I had a rock in my right palm! Yup, you’re hearing it right, a rock inside of my right palm! I bursted out with tears and my mom had no idea what to do because she had never dealt with someone having a rock stuck inside of their palm! 

It was crazy, the rock was inside of me and there was no blood! (Maybe just a tiny bit of blood) As me and everyone went back inside of the house me and my mom went to the bathroom to see if there was anything I could use to get the pointy rock out of my hand. I was so frightened that a rock was in my palm! 

“Come on, we need to get going! We don't want to be late to get to Aunt Sam’s house! You know she lives 3 hours away!” My Mom yelled. We were late,very late that morning and we were supposed to be in the car and gone by 7:00! But I Made us late so we were on the road at about 8:00. In the car there was not much to look at, except mountains.

As I fidgeted with my hands I looked around the car to see if there was anything else to fidget with. I checked the snack bag, nothing, I checked the pocket on the back of my dads seat and in my moms purse, but there was still nothing. After 3 hours of being in the car we had finally made it to Birch Bay!

When I calmed down I layed on the couch and watched my favorite movie. As I was watching the movie I smelt something so delicious, so tasty and buttery, it was popcorn to eat while watching the movie! I dipped my hand in the popcorn bag, And it was hot, very hot, but it still felt magical! 

I enjoyed my fresh popcorn and finished it in a second! After that things got better and&nbsp; it was about time to get to bed. I climbed into bed and fell asleep very quickly! When I woke up my mom yelled loudly, “Come down to the bathroom! We are going to try to get the rock out of your hand!”

Afterwards we headed out to the beach. We had to cross some gooey icky stuff, it was horrible, in order to get to the real beach. I could smell the fresh (and very salty) sea! Afterwards we found such cool fish and crabs (and sadly some trash too )! As we headed back to the house we had to cross that gooey stuff again which was super gross.

After we finally made it back, which felt like forever! (although it was probably just 20 minutes… but it was still so gross!)&nbsp; Something else which was worse is that we could not use our shoes cause they would get way too dirty, gross and stinky! I was relieved that we had finally made it across!

As we got a tour of the house I was so excited and started saying, “C’mon can we go now?”&nbsp; Thankfully it only took everybody about 5 minutes to get their swimsuit on and to check if they had everything.

I was so excited to see my aunt Sam!&nbsp; As I ran up to her and I knew what I was going to ask her! I hugged her I asked with a big smile on my face.

“Can we go to the beach?”and of course she said, “It's fine with me!” I was so excited to go! But then Aunt Sam said “After we give you a tour of the new house and you and everyone else gets ready.” I thought *at least she didn’t say no*.
