I needed, 2 cups, soda, a clock, tape, 2 metal(Copper and zinc) sticks and wires for this experiment.
For this to work, I need to fill the cups with soda, then put 2 of the metal sticks into each cup. Connect and tape the wires to the clock.
Ask a Question
I am still wondering how this will work, how can we use Zinc and copper and soda to make a clock work? How can we turn on a clock without a battery?
Make a Hypothesis
I think that it is not going to work because I only seen people power stuff with batteries or even potato but never coke!
The reason that it is not working yet is because it need the coke or else the chemicals has nothing to move through.
Conduct an Experiment
For this to work, I need to fill the cups with soda, then put 1 zinc and one copper of the metal sticks into each cup. Then I have to connect another zinc and copper to the clock.
Draw Conclusions
IT WAS SO COOL!! Although my hypothesis was incorrect I thought that is was very interesting when the clock turned on, when ! poured the coke
