The pictures you see here are pictures from the past. This community of Karatéka (karate practitioners), no longer train together. They no longer have the opportunity to see each other face to face, to learn together and feel the community around them. Instead, they are stuck inside whilst the physical distancing measures around Coronavirus are in place.
Gido is a traditional karate uniform. This one is folded up and put away, no longer in use.
The photos you just saw where photos of a group member training alone. Near the end, you even see this group member no longer training, his uniform put away and no longer being used. This is a community that can only be maintained by training and communicating with each other, and when they are cut off, the community stops functioning.
