How to Create a Book in Book Creator for Chrome

With your text selected, click on the "i" icon at the upper right.  Notice that you now have options to edit your text!

Include audio in your book, too. Have students read their creation!

This is a flower that I drew using the drawing tool in Book Creator.

Design your cover! Click on the + sign to open the "insert" menu and select the Text option.  Once your text has been added, you will be able to define its look and feel in the next step.

There is a palette of colors to select from or create your own color.

You have your choice of colors and various pen widths.

You can even add LINKS to other sites within your book!  Link images and text!

Once published, you can view online and copy the private link to share your creation.  You can also download as an ebook.   Unpublish at any time!

If you already have content on the page, you can see a preview of the area where your drawing can go.

Want to add pictures or a short video? Simply drag and drop!

Students can also create images using built-in shapes.

Type your text. Notice that you have the option of including a link to a site.  Click Done to begin defining the look and style of your text.

Google fonts are integrated into Book Creator, giving you a variety of styles to choose from.

After clicking publish, check over your title and author, then click Publish Book.  

While previewing, publish using the share icon at the top right.

Use the camera tool to snap a quick image.

Right-click on the text box gives you additional options.

Start by clicking on New Book in the upper right corner.

Safari may block some audio or video from playing automatically and ‘read to me’ will skip these. You can configure this in Safari’s preferences.
