My Grandpa’s&nbsp;Special Birthday&nbsp;&nbsp; March 5th, 2020&nbsp; Dear diary, It was my&nbsp;grandfather's&nbsp;birthday yesterday. It was a very special&nbsp;and enjoyable&nbsp;birthday yesterday because it was my mom and the family’s first time having a birthday party with my grandpa, but&nbsp;if the virus didn’t come&nbsp;to the world, then we will be in China and my grandpa will be in Vietnam, so we won’t be able to be together. That happened almost every year but&nbsp;except&nbsp;for this year.&nbsp;Since this year, we are all together, I feel very loved and happy. That day morning, my mom made a&nbsp;birthday surprise&nbsp;for my grandpa. When my grandpa woke up, he went to eat breakfast and then went to the gym.

Then when he came up to our room floor, he found this card that&nbsp;says, “ Go to room 5009” (my room and my sister's) then when he went it, we surprised him, gave him hugs and kisses, after, we gave him his birthday card and his birthday present. The moment after, we gave him the next clue and he had to go to another room, and this went on for 3 times, and the last one is my grandma's room. I think my Grandpa was very surprised and happy for all this, because he hadn't have this for many years, and this year he finally had a surprise!&nbsp;At night, my mom prepared a birthday dinner for my grandpa, it was a pretty good dinner, and a lot of people enjoyed it.&nbsp;At dinner, my sister and I  had the&nbsp;kid's&nbsp;menu and the adults had the normal dinner menu.

It was so good because the taste was just very tasty and it made my tummy very full. After we ate dinner it was almost time for my bff to go, but I knew that we could still meet. Thats it for today, wish the best for tomorrow. As always Jaden Yen

At the dinner place, it looked like we were in a castle, because there was blue balloons and the place was just amazing! We were at the top of our hotel, 54th&nbsp;floor so&nbsp;when we&nbsp;glance&nbsp;out at the window, we pretty much could see the whole view of Thailand.. My family, friends, and I had a lot of fun, and that day was the best day that I enjoyed because it included family, friends, and lots of excitement.&nbsp;&nbsp;Thats it for today! Dear diary, Today I finally finished my 14 day quarantine at home. I was SOOO excited to see my friends and family again. I said family because only my mom, sister and I went home to be quarantined. My dad and grandparents were in a hotel quarantined, and today, I finally got to see them again. I was also SOOO excited to see my friend again! I haven't seen her since January. I missed her so very much. That day, my mom's bff and one of my friend went outside. I smelled the fresh air, ah finally freedom. We went to buy drinks and food. I got passion fruit and honey tea, my sister got bubble tea, and my mom's bff got the same as what I got.

Dear Diary, Today I had the whole morning to do some reading. I had to read 60 minutes of Chinese and English. When I finished both of my reading, some of my mom's friend came to play this game called Playing Majiang, 打麻将. We played this game for about 30 minutes then we heard: "Come and eat lunch!", we ran to the dining table to eat lunch. I was so hungry, so I ate very fast and got full at the end. After we ate lunch, we continued to play Playing Majiang untill it was time that I needed to practice 30 minutes of piano. It was almost 4:00pm when I finished practicing my piano.

The Playing Day April 19th, 2020

At 4:00pm, my best friend, little sister, Nana (older sister) and I was supposed to have a picnic, but due to the rain it got canceled. I was also sad because I really wanted to have that picnic with them, but the other good thing was that my bff could come to my house and play!We had bubble tea at the end, it was SOO good because the milk tea was made out of fresh milk and there isn't any tea, and the bubble was SOO soft, so it made it very chewy. I also really liked the flavor because it was with brown sugar, and I really like brown. About 5:00-5:30 we had dinner, we had dumplings with meat and veggies.

When I sipped the drink, I almost went to heaven, It taste so good. I haven't had them for weeks. After we went buying drinks and food, it was about 5:30-6:00pm and that means it was almost dinner time. We had hot pot at home, when I smelled the fresh soup, there was drool dripping down my mouth. I ate very fast, and then I asked my mom, " Mom can I go to Tina's (my best friend) house today, and have a sleepover?" My mom replied, "Yes, you could." I was so happy because I missed her a lot, and today I finally got to see her again. That day after dinner, I went to Tina's house. It only took me 5 minutes, because we live in the same compound, so it was pretty easy to get to her house. Knock, knock, when she opened the door, we screamed in excitement, that day we really had a lot of fun.

The 2 big things were we got out from our 14 day quarantine, and I got to see my family and friends again. I will never forget this day. As always, Jaden Yen
