Horned Frogs

Most frogs lay eggs so does the horned frog. The stages are eggs, tadpoles. Froglet, and frog. Tadpoles hatch out the egg and grow a tail, froglet is a frog with a tail, frog is froglet without tail.

Horned frogs burrow and hibernate and are solitary animals.

Horned frogs have a wide mouth and can eat a lot of stuff so food isn’t a problem. And i think it could make it self seem bigger opening its mouth.

Horned frogs habitat is rainforests and dry areas of South America. Because it’s humid and rainy but if they live in South America it’s most likely  because its not too wet. 

Horned frogs have slimey bodies with skin flaps above their eyes that look like horns. It has webbed feet and no tail. But its mouth is very wide.

Horned frogs eat really anything they can fit in their mouth, like birds, other frogs, small vertebrates and insects. The way they get there food is they go in a hole put a leaf on there head and wait until food arrives then they strike.
