For our PSHE lesson, we continued Mojo's journey to finding Empathy, we discussed how some of us got stuck in the 'Maze' last week, we also decided to have our own 'M.U.M.' in our class (Monsters Understanding Monsters) We discussed how breathing and what we do during that breath can help up come out of the MAZE. We also discussed how to Put ourselves in someone else's shoes. Then, we showed our Empathy to one of our classmates, and we wrote SHOUT OUTS to so many people in our class, school, and teachers. We cannot wait to display those shoutouts to people can see how wonderful they all are.

Hello, 3rd Grade grown-ups and my Thinking Artists. This week was an interesting one! We have started preparing for our final assessment project. We are planning to make an (All around the school) health campaign. Come along to tell you all about it.

During English, the kiddos have watched a Day in Fred's life, discussed whether he has a healthy daily routine or not. The kiddos also took notes while watching the videos and constructed sentences using the present simple tense. We have discussed the uses of the present simple, made examples, extracted the rules from the examples, and wrote them on our notebooks.

During our maths lessons this week, we solved our homework from last week together and self-checked. We also learned all about the Split strategy. We compared the difference between the 3 mental strategies that we learned, and each kiddo got the chance to become a teacher and show their thinking and method of choice to the other kiddos in the class.

Steps to help you and your kiddo log online for a successful lesson.

We are going online! Don't worry it will be easy peasy! Here's what you need to know

1- Please make sure your kiddo to log to their Zoom lessons on time. Our online sessions are only 40 minutes long, so as per school's rules, if the student is late 10 minutes they are considered absent

2- Please make sure your kiddo is sitting in a quiet area without any distractions.

3- Please make sure your kiddo has a good internet connection. Make sure to check their connection prior to the sessions.

4- If there is no possibility for your kiddo to be in a quiet room, please make sure your kiddo has good headphones with a microphone.

5- Please make sure your kiddos do not join the online sessions in their pyjamas

Art lesson was an essential lesson because it was the start of our final assessment week (next week). The kiddos were presented with a Padlet and some poster options to help inspire them in creating their own Healthy Lifestyle posters for our Staying Healthy awareness campaign next week. The kiddos created their posters during the Art lesson, and alongside their Digital Booklet that they will complete next week, their posters will be accompanied by a QR code of their booklets all around the school for our campaign.
