On Thanksgiving Day, after school we get ready for the turkey. We preheat the oven and we start making the stuff.

Some time later when the stuff is done we hear the doorbell ring. I hear it and said"The people are here. The people are here!"
My mom gets the door and it's Gramda, Grandpa, our cousins and our Aunt and Uncle.
Everybody gets settled in and waits for my dad and the turkey. My dad said he would be back at 11:50, but he's not here.
"When's dad coming back?" I ask. My mom says, "I don't know when dad's coming back."
