Thanksgiving

We put the desserts on the table and we eat. Some people start to leave and some people stay.

&quot;When&apos;s dad coming back?&quot; I ask. My mom says, &quot;I don&apos;t know when dad&apos;s coming back.&quot;<br/>

 On Thanksgiving Day, after school we get ready for the turkey. We preheat the oven and we start making the stuff.

We set the table and eat everybody loves it. When we&apos;re finished everyone waits for the desserts.

The doorbell rings. &quot;Is that dad?&quot; I say &quot;I don&apos;t know Isaac.&quot; Mom said. Dad comes in with the turkey.<br/>

My mom gets the door and it&apos;s Gramda, Grandpa, our cousins and our Aunt and Uncle.

Everybody gets settled in and waits for my dad and the turkey. My dad said he would be back at 11:50, but he&apos;s not here.

Some time later when the stuff is done we hear the doorbell ring. I hear it and said&quot;The people are here. The people are here!&quot;
