I say while a tear runs down my face, I feel like my heart has just dropped. “This was my only chance of getting help,” I sobbed in disbelief.

I can't give up I have to help Kayla. Running to the front door of the old house I stand and stare wondering if I will get out if I go in. Turning the door handle my spine tingling and my breathing becomes so shallow although it must stop. “CREAK,” the door says as I push it open.

I slowly take one step at a time going towards the broken stairs “CREAK” I shut my eyes and form a fist, hoping no one heard me.

As I reach the top of the stairs breathing heavily I hear another scream the scream is louder than ever. As I start to run down the stairs to the basement.

A ghostly figure with piercing eyes as black as night staring at me.
At the back I see Kayla strapped to a dentist chair sobbing. I pick up the book and chuck it at the figures head with a thud it falls to the floor. I run to Kayla
and take the straps off “watch out Sarah!,” Kayla screams but it was to late the freaky figure hit me across the head with the book, suddenly I hit the ground feeling the cold blood drip down my forehead. I start to think in my dream “where am I, what's going on,” over and over.
