My inspiration for creating The Name was that I was told to do it. It was a school assignment, so it was mandatory! Best kind of inspiration right? It was very fun to create though, I really enjoyed planning how the shadows were going to work, and thinking and testing the 3-D effect.

For this assignment, we were testing out using shading and colours to our images, and I think the comparison of the emoji to my version turned out great.

For this project we were experimenting with simplicity and colours, by creating a logo. I created a logo for the (theoretical) seycove cube club.

About the author: I am a grade 8 PLP student at seycove secondary, and I like video games, Rubik’s cubes, and many other things.

The One, the only… Daryl Bonger! - by James

Now, this one was fun, we were practicing creating images with just basic geometrical shapes, then adding details and shading, and in the end, it turned out great!
