Examples of Roman dishes include:
- Saltimbocca alla Romana: a veal cutlet topped with raw ham and sage and simmered in white wine and butter
- Carciofi alla Romana: Artichokes fried in olive oil; outer leaves removed, stuffed with mint, garlic, breadcrumbs and braised
- Spaghetti alla carbonara: Spaghetti with bacon, eggs and pecorino
- Gnocchi di semolino alla romana- Semolina dumpling.

FLORENCE

Florence is one of the most important cities in Italy and is located in central Italy.
It was a Roman city, founded by Caesar Augustus in 59 B.C.                            
Florence is very beautiful and rich in culture.

This city has many monuments, the most important ones are:
- Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore
- Old bridge (Ponte vecchio)
- the Uffizi Gallery
