Chapter 1 Tonga is safe!!!
There is no reason to have your purse, or your wallet, or making sure that there's no one trying to steal your belongings, crime rarely happens, and all the dangerous animals rarely hurt people. There is a venomous snake that can't break through human skin ( and don't attack humans anyway) . Tonga doesn't have any Major diseases. But that doesn't mean that you can put all your caution in the trash.
1. if you aren't feeling good see a doctor in Tonga they will be able to know how to help you if you catch one of the sicknesses at Tonga, more than your doctor where you live.
2. go HEAVY on sunscreen. you will get sunburnt after about 5 hours without going on sunscreen.
3.Some Waters aren't safe to drink ask before you just drink the water.
4.Pack a first aid kit for Tonga just in case.
5.the emergency number in Tonga is: 911

Chapter 2 humpback whales.
One of the many reasons visitors come to Tonga is to swim with hunchback (humpback whales)
Whales! Hunchback whales come to Tonga to give birth to their babies. They swim 3,000 miles from antarctica to Tonga, each year between June and October. That's really far! Hunchback whales grow to be 60 feet long and weigh up to 80,000 pounds!!! They can live to 80- 90 years old! Ok. enough about humpback whales. Back to Tonga!

REALLY WOW!!!
Tonga has a disappearing island. It disappears every about 20
years then comes back every about 20 years!Following the major eruption on 15 January 2022, this image taken on 18 January shows that most of the previous combined island had been destroyed, leaving only small remnants of the NE island of Hunga Tonga (200 m long) and the SW island of Hunga Ha'apai (700 m long) visible above the ocean surface.
