Contamination is the trash that affects an environment by damaging living creatures, such as plants and animals. In addition, Contamination happens when the trash decomposes itself and releases toxic gases to the air and the environment.

Before our investigation, on how to convert trash into energy. We discovered that every person generates 1.2kg of trash per day World Wide. In Culiacán most of its citizens generate 1,086 Tons of trash per day. In Sinaloa 3,854 Tons of trash per day. The charts shows especificy calculation on how much trash it is generated per day.

During our investigation, we found that methane gas is a great source of energy.With deep investigation, many useful leads were discovered and this project called Gammakat came about, is a company that makes energy from waste.

In Mexico, most of its population does not care about trash or have no idea what do with it. A good reason of why there is trash by tons. Consequences from contamination are:

Our purpose
Our purpose is to design a strategy for the use of waste as an energy resource. 
Because earth is our planet and it is very polluted. if us human keep polluting, the planet will be inhabitable in the future. The company, is created to protect all the living things and provide energy to people all over.

Our hypothesis is that organic waste generates more energy than inorganic waste, since it generates more methane gas.

How does it get to incineration? First, buy an item that can create a lot of waste, then separate from other waste. 

There are basically two processes:

1. Thermal process; incineration, pyrolysis. In incineration, carbon is converted at high temperatures into carbon dioxide to release energy in the form of heat, which in turn can generate steam and electricity in a turbine.

2. Low temperature gasification and plasma. Both proceses are characterised by the conversion of the carbon contained in the garbage under different conditions of temperature and air mainly. In gasification, two processes can be distinguished, depending on the operating temperature, the first occurs at a low temperature of 500 ° C, and the second in a plasma arc, where carbon is converted by air or ionized gas at temperatures of 5000 ° C a mixture of gases better known as biogas, whose main component is methane, also found in natural gas, at 7000 ° C.
1.-Ways to implement the process in your city.

-Every house needs to have trash cans; organic & inorganic. The city will provide trashing trucks for both services to be taken to specific spots. This is a great solution because even if you separate the trash, the city does not separate the waste.

By separating ,we would know which waste can be useful and which we should get totally rid of. Finally, by separation of the waste, one waste can help the world, but others will be toxic for the environment. This process are urgent and needs to be fulfilled in order to help our planet and ecosystem.

Other type of contribution as citizens:

1.- Worthless paper
There are many types of paper that cannot be recycled: greaseproof , plasticised paper, receipts from credit card machines or supermarkets, paper with adhesive glue, dirty toilet paper, carbon paper and tax coupons. and greasy pizza boxes

2.- Double trash can
The double trash can help you organize and avoid the problem that all the trash gets mix together creating more toxic in the environment.

3.- Did you know that methane gas its a great source of energy because it produces more calorific and light energy per mass than any other hydrocarbon or fossil fuel? That is why we burn organic and inorganic trash. Methane gas is an element composed of one carbon atom and four hydrogen atoms, The scientific name of methane is known as “CH4”.

Another fact, is that organic waste generates more methane gas than inorganic waste.
