Haiku PoemsBeautiful mountains
Crisp air and smell of the trees
Turns to smell of smoke
—————————————————————————————————————
Happy smiling face
Wet kisses and wagging tail
Long plays at the park
—————————————————————————————————————
Snowball thrown at me
Festive music fills the air
To bad that’s all gone

Simile Poem
Skis on, up the chair
Down the hill but not to fast
In the park to grab some air
It’s to bad that it can’t last
As the wind blows past my face
I feel like I am in a race
A race for what, I do not know
But I turn and look to see a crow
The crow looks back and caws out loud
It almost sounds like cheering from a crowd
Then I remember, that I’m free
For all is well, when I ski
Skis on, up the chair
Down the hill but not to fast
In the park to grab some air
It’s to bad that it can’t last
As the wind blows past my face
I feel like I am in a race
A race for what, I do not know
But I turn and look to see a crow
The crow looks back and caws out loud
It almost sounds like cheering from a crowd
Then I remember, that I’m free
For all is well, when I ski
Extended Metaphor Poem
As sweet as a churro
As sour as a lemon
As fresh as a tomato
As greasy as bacon
As salty as a pretzel
As spicy as a pepper
As cold as ice cream
As hot as beef stew
Food can be many things
But ones for sure, its always good
As sweet as a churro
As sour as a lemon
As fresh as a tomato
As greasy as bacon
As salty as a pretzel
As spicy as a pepper
As cold as ice cream
As hot as beef stew
Food can be many things
But ones for sure, its always good
