Bee-Bots

We spent some time using this mat which shows the layout of a house. We programmed bee-bot to go to particular rooms. Here you can see bee-bot going to the kitchen.

Bee-bots are also very effective for teaching many topics in maths. They introduce children to sequences and counting. A mat like the one photographed above, can be used to teach children shapes.

Bee-bots are excellent and easy to use learning tools.

Bee-bots are great tools for teaching literacy. A mat like the one above can help build vocabulary about the house. These cards can also be used to help children programme the bee-bots correctly and teach directional vocabulary. This can be done through English and Irish! 

Bee-bots are robots that are suitable for young children to use. The children learn what each button commands the bee-bot to do, and can use sequences to learn many curricular topics.
