To celebrate the Hispanic Heritage month, seventh graders explored the Hispanic culture from the point of view of the Arts, especially its painters. The students learned about the main styles of art, and then went to virtually visit the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City.To cap their experience, the students created a collective Art book featuring different Spanish-speaking artists, highlighting one of their works. The objective was to identify an artist, his/her style, and analyze and describe one piece as an art expert.

Para celebrar el Mes de la Herencia Hispana, los alumnos de séptimo grado exploraron la cultura hispana desde el punto de vista de las artes, especialmente sus pintores. Los estudiantes aprendieron sobre los principales estilos de arte y luego fueron a visitar virtualmente el Museo de Bellas Artes y el Museo de Arte Moderno de la Ciudad de México.
Para asentar su experiencia, los estudiantes crearon un libro de arte colectivo con diferentes artistas de habla hispana, destacando uno de sus trabajos. El objetivo era identificar a un artista, su estilo, además de analizar y describir una obra como un experto (a) en arte.
