The bee lives in large colonies. A Bee house is called a bee hive.

Bees are less than 3/4 inch long. They have three body parts. They have 4 wings. They are black and yellow.

Honeybees are social insects they live with up to 80,000 individuals.

Honeybees are friends. They produce  honey and bees wax for humans.

Honey bees go through four stages. Egg, larva, pupa and adult are the four stages.

Honey bees are the only insects that produce food for humans.  They communicate using dance language. The  honeybee will die if it uses its stinger.
