Honey bees are the only insects that produce food for humans to eat.

The honeybee is a social honeybee. It works together in the hive to make honey.

They go through complete metamorphosis. The stages are egg, larva, pupa and adult.

The honeybee lives in a large colony in the  hive.

The honeybee has three body parts, a head, thorax and abdomen. It has four wings and a stinger at the end of the abdomen.
