Luna Moth

The Luna Moth has complete metamorphosis. The four stages are egg, caterpillar, pupa,and adult.

A Luna Moth is a solitary insect. It lives by itself.

The Luna Moth lives in the trees of the eastern part of the United States into Canada.

The Luna moth has three main body parts. The head, thorax  and abdomen. The Luna  Moth has an exoskeleton, six legs and wings.

My name is Damiah Tyrone. I was born November 16, 2010 in Rochester, NY. I attend School #50. I  enjoy writing short stories, and painting.<br/>

A Luna Moth is important to our environment. It is a friend. 

Females can lay 400 to 600 eggs. The adult Luna Moth does not have a mouth which is why they only live about a  week.
